Creating a new user.

To be able to create a new user the department has to be selected, in the left pane. The window is in select-mode. (see the interface description) and the department details are displayed in the right pane of the window. If the user is authorized (see the authorization table), the New-button is enabled (see picture). By activating the New-button, the window gets in edit-mode (see next picture) and an empty entry-pane is opened for the creation of a new user.

When the window is in edit-mode, the Save-button is activated and the user details can be entered. All data items have to be entered. After all data is entered, it can be saved by activating the Save-button. The window will now return to the select-mode.

Department Name of the department for which the user is created (selection list of all enabled departments).
E-mail address E-mail address of user, is used as user identification for access to the WUI.
Company Company at which the user is employed.
QStudio use enabled Status of user, if disabled access to the WUI is denied.
Desktop login name Login name at user's desktop for access to the GUI / CQC Wizard.
First name First name of user.
Last name Last name of user.
Telephone number Telephone number of user.
Authorize to create new product Authorization level of user, if disabled user is not allowed to create products (see Product administration).
Password Password for access to WUI (in combination with E-mail address).
Confirm password Confirmation on password.
