Quality standard
How to maintain the QStudio quality standards.
Through the QStudio quality standard a quality model is defined. Based on this model
the quality of the inspected source code can be expressed in 2 ways:
- Compliance, the quality of the source code complies to (is within the limits of) the standard
as defined by the model. For the compliance determination every metric is assigned
a 'compliance value' and an 'improvement percentage (%)' (see
Quality Model).
Compliance is determined on file, class and method-level.
- Quality rating, the quality of the source code is expressed by classifying the current
status in 4 ratings i.e. Good, Sufficient, Suspicious or Bad. The classification is
per (enabled) QStudio metric. By combining the metrics to quality (sub)attributes the ratings
can be expanded to reflect the different quality aspects (see
Concepts).
This tutorial provides an introduction to the
user-interface
