Select metrics.

Besides the specification of the files to be incorporated in the view, also the quality metrics to be incorporated can be selected. The selection of the metrics is done through the select-box in the top-pane of the Views-window. By default all metrics are selected.

The metrics are divided into 3 groups:

  • File-related, metrics based on the analysis of the complete source file
  • Class-related, metrics based on the analysis of classes
  • Method-related, metrics based on the analysis of methods

    • The metric-selection can be done by group or by individual metric. The individual metrics are marked with F, C, M to identify whether they are File-, Class- or Method-related. For a complete overview of the available metrics, see the description of the Quality standard.
