Getting Started

Learn how to get the QStudio Web User Interface (WUI) client up and running here.

How to use the QStudio WUI?

In the QStudio philosophy proper procedures have to be in place in order to be able to manage and control the quality, the Code Quality Control procedures. Through these procedures all roles, tasks and responsibilities are defined for an effective (controlled) implementation of Code Quality Control management, as part of the product life cycle.

In the QStudio Enterprise environment two types of clients can be distinguished i.e. Developer- and CQC clients. The Developer clients are used by software engineers to improve their source code by performing static analysis (automated reviews) as part of the development tasks. The CQC clients are used by quality engineers and managers to control the quality of the source code during the complete development cycle of a project.

The WUI offers the functionality to support the controlling CQC tasks and is regared as a CQC client. The functionality is divided in 4 sections i.e. Views, Standards, Repository and Reports.

This tutorial provides an introduction to the user-interface of the QStudio WUI client and will guide you through the basic functions of each of the sections.
